Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Noah King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Wennstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Killing in the name. Hugo Wennstrom will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Noah King! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hugo Wennstrom! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King shoots in but no luck this time. King shoots for a takedown but Wennstrom saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. King wants to clinch. King closes the distance and clinches up with Wennstrom, looking for a takedown. King pushes Wennstrom against the cage but Wennstrom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noah King. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wennstrom avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
King moves out of range as Wennstrom strikes. King is looking to clinch. Wennstrom will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Noah King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King ducks under a wild hook from Wennstrom. Wennstrom circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wennstrom wants to get up but he can't break King's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Oh King is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wennstrom preventing the sweep. King working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wennstrom doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wennstrom manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. King keeping moving, preventing Wennstrom from controlling successfully. King seems to have got his legs back now. Wennstrom preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wennstrom postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. King pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wennstrom connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between King's hands. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King. King shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than King was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! King is breathing heavily. King goes for an armbar but Wennstrom turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Wennstrom. King looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King has an active guard here but Wennstrom has managed to pass into half guard.

King is looking for a sweep. Wennstrom is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. King is working hard here to advance position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wennstrom seems to be working for a kimura but King defends the submission attempt. Wennstrom prevents King from improving his position. King won't allow Wennstrom to pass to mount. King tries to roll over but Wennstrom keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Noah King has been cut. King throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wennstrom has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of King is proving hard to escape from. King might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wennstrom gets to his feet - King follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wennstrom pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hugo Wennstrom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. King tries to clinch up. Wennstrom fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches King on the side of the head. King fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noah King. That's going to take a lot out of him. King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wennstrom circles away. Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Wennstrom! This one is all over!
