Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rip Hamster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akio Kurosaki!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamster has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kurosaki.
Kurosaki wants to clinch up but Hamster keeps it at a distance.
Kurosaki throws a nice inside leg kick.
Hamster chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kurosaki can pounce on him.
Hamster fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Akio Kurosaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good standup being displayed there by Kurosaki as he connects with a hook.
Hamster shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hamster manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kurosaki on his heels. He'll look to pass Kurosaki's guard now, I'm sure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hamster postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kurosaki utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kurosaki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hamster working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kurosaki's head.
Hamster makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Hamster stands and steps away. Kurosaki gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Kurosaki throws a body punch but Hamster moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kurosaki wants to slow Hamster down by chopping away at his legs.

Hamster throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kurosaki was covering up waiting for the punch and Hamster finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hamster throws a big right hand that misses.
Kurosaki utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hamster working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hamster postures up in Kurosaki's guard and throws a big left but Kurosaki blocks it.
Hamster postures up and lands a big shot to Kurosaki's brow.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kurosaki can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hamster lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Kurosaki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hamster is one step ahead there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hamster working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kurosaki's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hamster missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kurosaki avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hamster accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hamster makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Hamster stands up and waves to Kurosaki to follow him.
Kurosaki moves in looking to clinch but Hamster pushes him off.

Kurosaki rushes Hamster and presses him up against the cage.
Kurosaki connects with a knee to the head.


It looks like Rip Hamster has been cut.
Kurosaki gets through Hamster's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kurosaki gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Kurosaki connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hamster's face.
Hamster takes an elbow to the forehead.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Kurosaki with a knee to the head.
Kurosaki lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Hamster successfully pulls guard.
Kurosaki won't allow Hamster to sweep him here.

Kurosaki is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hamster has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kurosaki is looking to defend but Hamster has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kurosaki! Hamster pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kurosaki taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Rip Hamster!
