The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Alesso, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Alesso counters with a good, hard body kick but Silva shrugs it off.

and Alesso counters with a series of strikes. Silva will be more careful next time no doubt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
