The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Bob closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bob content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Bob lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Jaxon fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Jaxon swings wildly with an uppercut but Bob uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bob stalls.
A frustrated look appears on Jaxon's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Jaxon tries to throw a body punch but Bob avoids it by throwing Jaxon back against the cage.
Bob is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Jaxon is trying to push Bob away but Bob has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Thingama Bob seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Bob has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Jaxon has hold of one of Bob's legs. Bob is fighting the takedown attempt but Jaxon gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jaxon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jaxon lands a big shot there that rocks Bob but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
