The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butterbean misses with a takedown
and Wright counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Butterbean shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wright sprawls well. Wright wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Butterbean gets slowly back to his feet.
Butterbean moves forwards but Wright connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Wright staying out of range there.
Wright lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Butterbean tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wright sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Butterbean somewhat.
