Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Cicero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cicero's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Woke Up This Morning . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Cicero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jim Morrison!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cicero sprawls well. Cicero wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Morrison gets slowly back to his feet.
Cicero shoots in looking for a takedown. Morrison tries to sprawl out of it but Cicero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Morrison manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Morrison shoots in but Cicero avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Morrison fails with a takedown attempt.
Paul Cicero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Morrison.
Morrison leaves Cicero with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Cicero instigates a clinch.

Cicero breaks from the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cicero.
Cicero fails with the takedown
and Morrison counters with a two punch combo.

Cicero takes the fight into the clinch.

Cicero tries for a takedown but Morrison manages to get underhooks.

Cicero gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Morrison to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Morrison forces his way into half guard.
Cicero makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cicero.
Cicero is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cicero is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Morrison would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Cicero is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cicero tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Cicero working for a triangle but Morrison defends it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morrison postures up and lands a big shot to Cicero's brow.

Cicero looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Morrison passes into side control.
Cicero is looking to reverse the position.

Morrison stands up.

Morrison fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cicero to the ground. Morrison is now in Cicero's guard.
Morrison throwing strikes but missing.
Morrison with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Cicero working for a triangle but Morrison defends it easily.

Cicero has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morrison can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cicero is looking for a triangle but Morrison pushes his legs off easily.

Morrison stands up from guard. Let's bang!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Morrison has Cicero up against the ropes in a clinch.
Morrison has Cicero pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Cicero manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Morrison throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jim Morrison dominated that round.

Morrison moves into the clinch successfully.

Morrison escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cicero tries to score a power double leg takedown but Morrison sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cicero somewhat.
Cicero tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Paul Cicero is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Morrison looking to score a takedown here. Cicero is defending well but Morrison drives through and ends up in Cicero's guard.
Morrison wants to stand but Cicero is controlling his posture from full guard.
Cicero is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cicero bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Morrison's guard.
Cicero working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Jim Morrison has got the better of the ground game so far.

Morrison working for a triangle but Cicero defends it easily.

Morrison looking for a guillotine here but Cicero defends easily.

Cicero is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Morrison is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Morrison has escaped and now he's on top!

Cicero had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Morrison defends it easily.

Morrison trying to control but Cicero is working from the bottom.
Cicero tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Morrison pushing down on Cicero's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Cicero trying to control but Morrison postures up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Cicero tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Cicero tries to roll over but Morrison keeps him under control.

Morrison is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cicero defends it well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Morrison takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Morrison looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Morrison is looking to take a break and control but Cicero is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Morrison not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Cicero wants to control but Morrison is keeping busy.
Cicero makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cicero.

Cicero is trying to hold Morrison in close to prevent damage but Morrison has managed to pass into half guard.
Cicero wants to get back to full guard.
Morrison tries to stand and escape but Cicero is controlling the position.
Cicero gets full guard.
Morrison wants to control from the top but Cicero keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Morrison is looking to work some ground and pound but Cicero has wrist control.
Morrison lands a couple of digs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jim Morrison showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Cicero's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Morrison tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Cicero gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Cicero is trying to drag Morrison to the mat but Morrison just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Morrison lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morrison pushes off an throws an elbow but Cicero leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
Morrison is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Cicero gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Cicero wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cicero tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Morrison smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Cicero. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Cicero gets caught flat footed, as Morrison shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Cicero has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Morrison is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cicero.
Check out the look on Morrison's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Cicero tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Morrison wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Morrison stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Cicero has managed to clinch.
Cicero is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Morrison is defending well.
Cicero is trying to pull guard but Morrison has him pressed against the ropes.
Cicero tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Morrison scores with a shoulder strike.

Cicero is looking to break free of the clinch but Morrison has double underhooks.

Morrison lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cicero is looking to improve his position.
Cicero is working hard here to advance position.
Morrison looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cicero with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Cicero tries to roll over but Morrison keeps him under control.

Morrison looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Morrison is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Morrison is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cicero defends it well.

Cicero moves into full guard.

Morrison stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Paul Cicero has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Cicero has closed the distance and engaged Morrison in a clinch.

Morrison manages to break the clinch.
Morrison looks for a takedown but Cicero sprawls well.

Cicero clinches.
Cicero swings wildly with an uppercut but Morrison uses good head movement to avoid it.
Morrison goes for a takedown attempt but Cicero pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cicero throws a head kick that misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
That kick from Cicero tenderised Morrison's leg. Morrison is trying to keep his angry face on.

Jim Morrison is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Morrison closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jim Morrison comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Morrison has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
