Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikail Paris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paris looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gordon is fending him off so far but Paris persists. Nope, Gordon circles away and we're back to standing.
Paris misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gordon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Paris but Paris pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Paris checks a leg kick.
Paris swats away the attempt to clinch by Gordon.
Paris throws the left hand but Gordon avoids the punch easily.
Paris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gordon shoots in but Paris avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gordon shoots in looking for a takedown. Paris tries to sprawl out of it but Gordon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Paris manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Gordon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
