Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Bonne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Tekken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Bonne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Tekken!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tekken throws a series of strikes that have Bonne backpedaling.

Tekken has closed the distance and engaged Bonne in a clinch.

Tekken breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bonne gets caught flat footed, as Tekken shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bonne is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bonne is really struggling to control Tekken but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Bonne is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tekken is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Tekken throwing strikes but missing.
Bonne has a closed guard, preventing Tekken from standing up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jack Bonne.

Bonne closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bonne wants to control but Tekken is keeping him busy.
Tekken really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bonne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bonne is thwarting Tekken's attempts to control the position.
Tekken keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Tekken is looking to improve his position.
Bonne is trying to control the action in half guard but Tekken is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Tekken is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bonne is staying active.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sean Tekken was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Tekken scores with a takedown into Bonne's guard.
Bonne wants to sweep but no luck.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tekken gets to his feet - Bonne follows without any prompting.
Tekken leaves Bonne with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Tekken gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Tekken lands an uppercut.

Tekken looking for a sweep. Not yet Tekken, not yet.
Bonne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tekken swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tekken pulls Bonne in close to prevent any damage.
Tekken looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Tekken has his foot on Bonne's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bonne works his way back into a safe position though.
Tekken looks gassed!

Bonne looking to sit in guard and control but Tekken gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tekken is fighting to break Bonne's control of his arms but Bonne is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Tekken is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bonne lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tekken!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bonne thowing shots but they're missing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sean Tekken dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Bonne shoots in and drives through. Tekken sprawls well.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tekken.

Tekken tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Bonne tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

You can see the frustration on Bonne's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bonne is looking for a sweep.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Tekken wants to control but Bonne is keeping him busy.
Bonne tries to buck Tekken off but Tekken is having none of it.

Tekken tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Tekken is looking to take a break and control but Bonne is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bonne wants to control but Tekken postures up.
Bonne manages to get back to half guard.

Tekken decides to stand up.

Bonne shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bonne showed some decent athleticism there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tekken keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Bonne trying to control the action but Tekken is working from the bottom.
Tekken wants to control but Bonne is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tekken is concentrating on defense, preventing Bonne from advancing position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sean Tekken hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A nice inside leg kick there by Tekken. That's going to slow Bonne down.

Bonne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tekken pinned against the cage. Tekken gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice takedown defense from Tekken. No joy for Bonne on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Bonne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tekken.
Bonne is trying to control Tekken's posture but Tekken avoids it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tekken throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Bonne works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sean Tekken showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Tekken cracks Bonne with a good jab.

Tekken closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bonne did well to prevent Tekken getting side control.
Bonne is trying to control but can't.
Tekken passes to full mount!
Bonne is in all sorts of trouble here.

Tekken is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bonne defends it well.

Bonne is looking to control Tekken's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bonne avoid being mounted?
Bonne won't allow Tekken to pass to mount.

Tekken stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Tekken takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Tekken closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bonne's guard.
Bonne has a closed guard, preventing Tekken from standing up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bonne is on top in guard.

Tekken wants to sweep but no luck.

Bonne drops back looking for a leg! Tekken is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tekken manages to kick Bonne off! Bonne jumps back into Tekken's guard.
Tekken is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bonne not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Jack Bonne has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Bonne shoots in for a takedown but Tekken shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bonne shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tekken as he jumps to the side.

Tekken scores a takedown into full mount!

Tekken jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bonne is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bonne and Tekken has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Tekken wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bonne keeps working.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bonne tries to buck Tekken off but Tekken is having none of it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sean Tekken comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tekken has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.
