The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kami has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kami there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Sakuraba counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Sakuraba wants to finish this one by submission but Kami is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sakuraba.
Kami is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kazushi Sakuraba dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Sakuraba lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kami circles away quickly and effectively.
Kazushi Sakuraba is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Oh Kami is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Izanagami Kami. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sakuraba lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Sakuraba counters with a straight right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sakuraba walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Kami drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Sakuraba swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Kami's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kazushi Sakuraba!
