The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ever tests Gamrot's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Ever instigates a clinch.
Gamrot is trying to maintain a safe position but Ever gets an underhook and turns Gamrot into the cage.

Ever pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gamrot shoots in looking for a takedown. Ever tries to sprawl out of it but Gamrot keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ever manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ever is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ever, as that shot connected.
Ever thows a body shot but no joy.
Gamrot walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Greatest Ever is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ever is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gamrot.
Ever has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Gamrot throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ever's waist but Ever gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gamrot off to one side.
Gamrot shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ever leaves Gamrot with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ever is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gamrot had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Greatest Ever seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ever's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ever throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gamrot stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gamrot. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Ever throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
