Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jin Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Suarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suarez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Amazing. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jin Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Diego Suarez!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suarez works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kim shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kim gets caught napping as Suarez dives in and scores a takedown. Kim manages to retain guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kim is looking to improve his position.

Suarez decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Suarez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kim is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kim has escaped and now he's on top!

Suarez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kim defends it easily.
Kim has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Suarez throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kim.

Kim moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Kim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Suarez keeps working.
Kim uses his free foot to push down on Suarez's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Suarez.

Kim is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Suarez can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kim takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Suarez is squirming around, avoiding Kim's attempts to control the action.

Jin Kim showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Kim has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
