The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jay shoots and misses
and Haye counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Josh Jay has been cut.
Haye throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jay.
Haye takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jay fails with the takedown
and Haye counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Jay badly! Haye follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Jay out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Haye finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). David Haye!
