Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Stryfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francisco Olivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Francisco Olivera enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Stryfe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Francisco Olivera!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stryfe comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Olivera misses with a jab to the body
and Stryfe counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Olivera takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Olivera throws an overhand right that lands on Stryfe's shoulder, as Stryfe tries to avoid the shot.
Olivera throws a hook to the side of Stryfe's head but Stryfe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Olivera misses with a combination
and Stryfe holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Stryfe controlling the action here for a moment.
Stryfe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Francisco Olivera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stryfe chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Olivera with a poor takedown
and Stryfe counters with a leg kick.
Olivera throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Olivera shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Olivera is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Stryfe has managed to free his arm - good work.
Olivera looks gassed!

Olivera is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stryfe is just riding it out for now. Olivera eventually gives up the hold.
Stryfe pushes Olivera off looking to stand but Olivera dives back in and keeps control.
Olivera looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Stryfe is trying to stand back up but Olivera is controlling him
Olivera is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Olivera wants to advance to full mount but Stryfe doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Olivera pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stryfe is keeping the position for now.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Olivera takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Nathan Stryfe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Olivera throws a combination that misses
and Stryfe counters with a slapping leg kick.
Olivera takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Olivera misses with a double jab
and Stryfe counters with a three punch combo that has Olivera backing up. Olivera nods at Stryfe to acknowledge the strikes.
A low kick from Olivera misses
and Stryfe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stryfe connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Stryfe! Olivera is out on his feet! Stryfe rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Olivera is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Olivera is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nathan Stryfe!
