Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Reji!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny London!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by London.
London throws a head kick but Reji moves out of range.

Reji scores with a takedown into London's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
London controls Reji momentarily but Reji frees himself.

London working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reji doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reji manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Reji slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Reji really is a fat lump.

We're going to have a standup here because Jay Reji wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Reji takes a kick to the side of the head.
London jabs Reji to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Reji closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
London manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Reji is refusing to be controlled, as London sits in half guard.
Reji moves into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reji is trying to keep London in close.
Reji is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reji bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in London's guard.

London looking for submissions off his back.

Reji is figuring out what he wants to do next.
London wants to get back to full guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

We're going to have a standup here because Jay Reji wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
London lands with a good body shot.
Reji is breathing heavily.
London turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Reji takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Good leg kick by London there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Reji takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
London feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Reji's calf.
London lands a head kick. Reji smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Jay Reji has been cut.
London lands with a kick to the temple. Reji shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
London lands a leg kick that knocks Reji off balance momentarily.
A shot to the liver by London. Beautiful body shot.
London lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by London.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny London dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jay Reji's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


London takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Jay Reji is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Reji shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. London is trying to defend but Reji finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

London is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Reji pulls his head out easily.
London wants to get back to full guard but Reji has mounted him!
London gets back to half guard.

Reji postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for London to stand up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
London lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

London throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Reji stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
London scores with a push kick.
Reji sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
London lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Johnny London seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
London digs a good hook to Reji's body.
London connects with a leg kick. Reji looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
London fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Reji.
London throws a one two combo.
London throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from London, right into the meat.
London lands with a nice combination. Reji backs away looking to recover.
A head kick from London lands but Reji takes it in his stride.
Reji on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Johnny London seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

London lands a leg kick that knocks Reji off balance momentarily.
London throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Reji tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. London manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
London throws a nice head kick!
London cracks the inside of Reji's front leg.
London with a hook.
London displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
London wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A nice leg kick lands there from London.
Reji is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
London fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Reji looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
An inside leg kick lands from London.
London has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from London, right into the meat.
A nice inside leg kick there by London. That's going to slow Reji down.

London dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Reji. That did some damage!

London lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
London bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Reji's head.
A kick lands to the mid section there for London.
A left lands for London.
London stalks Reji and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Reji's face. Reji staggers backwards, shaken.
Reji gets cracked with a nice right hand there by London.
Reji tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
London works Reji's body with a nice hook.
London ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by London.
London lands a nice looking body kick.
London throws a nice inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
London lands a head kick!

Reji drives through and clinches with London against the cage.
London tries a body shot but Reji blocks it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
London tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Reji's elbow.
Reji blocks an uppercut.

Reji manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
London trying to control the position from guard on top but Reji is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny London showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


London thumps Reji with a low kick.
London lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reji's sensitive parts.
Nice uppercut lands for London. That snapped Reji's head back.

Reji gets a double leg takedown into London's guard.
Reji with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

London escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reji gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jay Reji overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

London is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Reji frees his head nicely. Oh but London has switched to an armbar! Reji is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
