Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Markakis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Branton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Branton has chosen Face the Pain by Stemm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Branton!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markakis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Markakis misses with the combination.
Markakis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Branton, pushing him back against the cage.
Markakis ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Markakis no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Branton passes Markakis's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Markakis scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Branton manages to mount him!
Branton tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Branton in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
It looks like Nick Markakis has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Branton throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Markakis has his hands clasped together but Branton breaks the hold and Markakis is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Branton!
