The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hopkins throws a series of punches but Dias moves out of range.
Dias throws a series of punches but Hopkins avoids them all with ease.
Dias showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hopkins.
Sloppy strikes from Hopkins. Those never looked like landing.
Dias tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hopkins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dias circles away quickly and effectively.
Jimmy Hopkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dias tries a head kick but it misses.
Hopkins looks to land a right hand but Dias moved out of range.
Dias on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Tony Dias has been cut.
Hopkins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hopkins wants to stand and escape but instead Dias has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Hopkins is looking to stand back up but Dias counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Hopkins.

Dias looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hopkins pushes Dias off but Dias dives into side control.
Hopkins is trying to buck Dias off.
Hopkins on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hopkins tries to get out of the position.

Dias stands up and beckons Hopkins to his feet.
A right-left combo lands from Hopkins.
Hopkins misses with a jab, cross combination.

Hopkins connects with a looping right hand.

Dias tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hopkins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hopkins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dias.
Hopkins is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Dias is rocked!
Hopkins fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Dias square on the jaw! Damn, Dias is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
