Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timofey Mozgov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikita Pronin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nikita Pronin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikita Pronin!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pronin scores with a takedown into Mozgov's guard.
Mozgov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mozgov keeping moving, preventing Pronin from controlling successfully.

Pronin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Pronin prevents Mozgov from getting back to his feet.

Pronin postures up in Mozgov's guard and throws a big left but Mozgov blocks it.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pronin has eaten all the pies!

Pronin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mozgov is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mozgov has escaped and now he's on top!
Mozgov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mozgov wants to get up but he can't break Pronin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Mozgov tries to free his leg and advance position but Pronin is retaining full guard.

Pronin has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Mozgov off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Pronin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mozgov but Mozgov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The crowd cheers as Mozgov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pronin doesn't seem phased though.

Mozgov clinches.
Pronin has Mozgov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mozgov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Mozgov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Timofey Mozgov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikita Pronin.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Nice combo by Mozgov! Oh, that's hurt him - Pronin falls to the canvas and Mozgov follows him into side control.

It looks like Nikita Pronin has been cut.
Pronin looks winded!
Mozgov throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Mozgov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pronin on the ground.
Mozgov postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pronin throws Mozgov to one side and escapes!
Mozgov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Mozgov plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Pronin swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Pronin face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
