Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexandre Valerovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Texans Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane has chosen FACE THE PAIN as his entrance music. Texans Kane looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexandre Valerovich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Texans Kane!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valerovich waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kane.
Kane looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kane stuffs the takedown attempt from Valerovich. Valerovich gets slowly back to his feet.
Kane has a takedown stuffed.

Valerovich clinches.
Valerovich has Kane pushed against the cage.
Kane is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Kane goes for a takedown in the clinch but Valerovich prevents it.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Kane's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Valerovich tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kane swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Valerovich decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Valerovich is looking for a kimura but Kane is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Valerovich to get the leverage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Valerovich shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kane napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Valerovich decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kane to his feet.

Kane gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Valerovich not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Valerovich passes Kane's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Valerovich in particular looking to stall.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Valerovich working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Valerovich's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Horrible takedown by Kane or perhaps it was just good defense by Valerovich which made him look bad.
Valerovich lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kane backs up against the cage.

Valerovich is trying to drag Kane to the mat but Kane just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kane blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Kane fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Valerovich wants to take the fight to the mat but Kane manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Kane putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Valerovich in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Valerovich is trying to drag Kane to the mat but Kane just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Valerovich tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kane smiles and moves away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kane is defended easily by Valerovich.

Well Valerovich has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
