Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mint Choco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva has a takedown stuffed.
Choco misses the jab.

Silva moves away from the strike by Choco.
Silva throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Choco tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Silva is in Choco's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

and Silva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Choco won't be happy with that.

Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Choco is trying to control Silva's posture but Silva avoids it.
You can see the frustration on Choco's face as Silva controls the position.

Silva in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The strikes coming from Silva are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Choco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Choco misses with a lunging right hand
and Silva counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Choco thinking.
Silva bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mint Choco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Choco.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Choco is refusing to be controlled, as Silva sits in half guard.

Silva takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Silva lands with a punch from half guard.
Silva thows a huge punch but Choco dodges it nicely.
Choco is trying to maintain the position but Silva is very close to passing his half guard.
Silva looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Choco with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Silva is looking to take a break and control but Choco is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Choco won't allow Silva to pass to mount.
Silva landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Silva is just content to waste time from the top position. Choco takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Silva content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Choco has locked up a guillotine! Choco's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Silva is holding on here and Choco must be using up a lot of energy. Silva has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Choco gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
