Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dallas Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlandu Cidolfas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dallas Kong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Orlandu Cidolfas!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cidolfas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kong is trying desperately to improve position.
Kong bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Kong tries to free his leg and advance position but Cidolfas is retaining full guard.

Cidolfas working for a triangle but Kong defends it easily.

Cidolfas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Cidolfas looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Kong advances position into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cidolfas being controlled for a moment.

Kong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cidolfas is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kong working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Kong is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cidolfas manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Cidolfas looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Cidolfas is looking to improve his position.
Cidolfas wants to sweep but Kong has passed to side control!
Kong trying to control the position but Cidolfas is working away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cidolfas manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kong's best efforts.
Kong is pressing down on Cidolfas's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cidolfas is holding on for now.
Kong moves into full mount! Cidolfas won't be happy about that!
Cidolfas slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Cidolfas is pressing down on Kong's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Cidolfas keeping moving, preventing Kong from controlling successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kong lands a couple of digs.

Kong is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Cidolfas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kong doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kong manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kong sitting in guard here, content to control.
Kong slips nicely into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Orlandu Cidolfas dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Cidolfas gets caught flat footed, as Kong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kong distracts Cidolfas with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Kong advances to half guard.
Cidolfas is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kong's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kong's back!
Kong manages to reverse the position and now he's in Cidolfas's guard. Nice work there by Kong.
Kong trying to control the position from guard on top but Cidolfas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kong stands up and waves to Cidolfas to follow him.
Cidolfas gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Kong counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Cidolfas looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kong looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kong thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cidolfas's head.
Kong trying to control the action but Cidolfas is working from the bottom.
Cidolfas wants to get back to full guard but Kong has mounted him!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kong working for a submission but Cidolfas is keeping him at bay.

Kong swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dallas Kong!
