Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Says (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koby Stott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Simon Says!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Koby Stott!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stott misses with a double jab.
Says looks to land a combination but Stott avoids it well.
Says tries to move into range but Stott moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Says gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Says misses with a knee to the head.

Says escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stott misses with a few strikes there.
Stott throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Stott misses with a left hand

and Says counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
The referee is keeping an eye on Says - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Says breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Says gets tackled into the cage by Stott. Stott maintains the clinch.
Stott with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Stott goes for a takedown in the clinch but Says prevents it.
Says slows down the pace here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head punch blocked on the inside by Says.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stott throws a punch but it's blocked by Says.
Says blocks an elbow strike from Stott.
Says lands an elbow inside that Stott shrugs off.
Stott letting Says take a breather here.
Stott misses with a short punch on the inside.
Says gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Stott.
Stott is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Says with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Stott manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Says in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Says has gone for a leg lock! Stott slips out almost immediately though and dives into Says's guard.

Stott stands up and waves to Says to follow him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Stott drives through and clinches with Says against the cage.
Stott jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Says walks away with a smile on his face. Stott gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Simon Says has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koby Stott.
Stott looks to land a combination but Says avoids it well.

Says gets the takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Says is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stott knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Stott sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Stott is defending against the submission attempts here by Says.

Says is working for a kimura but Stott is defending it quite comfortably.
Stott is trying to stand.

Says seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are battling for position here. Stott manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Stott lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Says!

Stott stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Says moves into the clinch successfully.
Stott tries to break the clinch but Says is controlling the position.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Says.
Stott scores with a shoulder strike.
Stott lands a nice uppercut.

Stott cracks Says with a nice body shot.

Says has picked Stott up - he's going for a ride! Says dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Says is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stott sees it coming and defends easily.

Says is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stott is just riding it out for now. Says eventually gives up the hold.

Stott looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stott is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Says pulls his head out easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stott trying to control here.
Says thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stott's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Koby Stott will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Says scores a takedown into full mount!
Simon Says overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Stott tries to hold on but Says pushes him away.
Stott is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Stott has given up his back.
Stott is trying to stand back up.
Stott rolls, trying to escape but Says keeps control of the position.
Stott turns into Says and is now in his guard.

Stott stands up from Says's guard - Stott perhaps looking for a knockout.
Stott throws a hook to the side of Says's head but Says sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Stott pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Says closes the distance and clinches.

Says pulls guard successfully.

Says looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Stott got a little sloppy there for a moment and Says has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stott has managed to get both his arms back between Says's legs - danger averted.

Says is working an open guard so Stott takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Says darts in and clinches Stott up against the cage.

Says has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Stott is trying to keep an underhook but Says manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Stott is pressing down on Says's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Stott manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Says circles away quickly and effectively.

Says fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stott, pushing him back against the cage.
Stott throws a punch but it's blocked by Says.
Stott tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice elbow from Says.
Says looking to stall.
Says tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Stott lands with a right to the head.
Stott misses with a short punch on the inside.
Says gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Says pulls Stott into guard.

Stott avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Says has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stott can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Stott trying to control but Says is working from the bottom.

Says working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stott.

Stott decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Says, up you get!
Says dodges the punch combination from Stott.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Says enables Stott to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Says manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Says looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Stott had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Says defends it easily.
Says wants to pass the guard but Stott is keeping the position.

Stott working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Says doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Says manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Says throwing strikes but missing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Koby Stott will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Stott is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Says pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Says pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Stott wants to break free but Says has control.

Says pulls guard effortlessly.
Stott is working Says over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Stott decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Stott goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Stott shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Says throws a series of punches but Stott avoids them all with ease.

Says looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Says postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stott is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Says, into his guard.

Stott gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Simon Says is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stott tries to bum rush Says with a series of wild strikes but Says uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Danga de danga de dang - Stott scores with a four punch combination!

Says manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stott on his heels. He'll look to pass Stott's guard now, I'm sure.

Stott is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Says defends well.
Says is looking to work some ground and pound but Stott has wrist control.
Says stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stott swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Says avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Says drops back looking for a leg! Stott is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stott manages to kick Says off! Says jumps back into Stott's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Stott escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Says gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Says wants to stand but Stott is controlling his posture from full guard.

Stott working for a triangle but Says defends it easily.

Says gets to his feet. Stott looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Says rushes Stott and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stott connects with a nasty looking knee right to Says's face.
Stott throws a punch but it's blocked by Says.
Says lands an elbow that stopped Stott in his tracks for a moment.
Says is trying to force a seperation but Stott has the dominant position.
Stott looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Says stalls.

Says decides to pull guard.

Stott gets to his feet. Says looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Says has taken the fight to the clinch.
Says's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Says jumps guard and drags Stott to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

I would just about give that final round to Koby Stott.
I've got Stott winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
