The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward tries for a takedown but Pleasance circles away easily
and Pleasance moves into the clinch.
Pleasance has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Ward is trying to keep an underhook but Pleasance manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Ward is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ward wants to control the action here but instead Pleasance manages to pass to full mount!
