PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dhal Sim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mibbe Ribbler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sim might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Otherside by Red Hot Chili Pepper. Ribbler has chosen Bad Religion - Los Angeles Is Burning as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribbler shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sim uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Sim on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sim tries to get out of the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
It looks like Ribbler might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Mibbe Ribbler has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Ribbler shoots in for a takedown but Sim shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sim stuns Ribbler with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Sim is looking to clinch but Ribbler is avoiding it.

Sim shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ribbler eats them both and turns towards Sim to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
