Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eulalio Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Lafleur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez doesn't manage to clinch there - Lafleur circles away.

Gonzalez closes the distance and clinches up with Lafleur, looking for a takedown. Gonzalez pushes Lafleur against the cage but Lafleur circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gonzalez is trying to trip Lafleur. He has hold of a leg but Lafleur is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gonzalez persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gonzalez is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lafleur is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Gonzalez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lafleur is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Gonzalez is controlling him well.
