The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kohler takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kohler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gargan as he avoids it easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gargan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Gargan prevents the takedown attempt.
Kohler is trying to push Gargan away but Gargan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Gargan has a couple of punches blocked by Kohler.

Gargan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kohler backwards.
Kohler drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gargan pulls his leg out and moves away.
