Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silco Deans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sniper Rifle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Silco Deans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sniper Rifle!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deans throws a lazy uppercut
and Rifle counters with a straight right hand.
Deans closes the distance and clinches up with Rifle, looking for a takedown. Deans pushes Rifle against the cage but Rifle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Deans throws a nice looking combination but Rifle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rifle avoids the body shot from Deans.
Deans throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Deans closes the distance and clinches up with Rifle, looking for a takedown. Deans pushes Rifle against the cage but Rifle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Deans misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Rifle counters with a shoot takedown. Deans fights it but they end up in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Deans not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Deans utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Deans wants to stand but Rifle is controlling the position.
Rifle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Deans trying to keep a closed guard but Rifle is proving a slippery customer.
Rifle throws a strike but Deans rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Deans stands up and waves to Rifle to follow him.
Deans displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rifle.
Deans leaves Rifle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Deans throws a shot from downtown. Rifle moves away and avoids it.

Rifle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Deans looking for a sweep. Not yet Deans, not yet.
Deans wants to stand and escape but Rifle is having none of it.
Rifle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Deans uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Rifle defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Deans.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silco Deans. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Rifle counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Deans is refusing to be controlled, as Rifle sits in half guard.

Deans looks like he's trying to stand up.

Deans keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Deans is not content to let Rifle control the position.
Deans is trying to stand back up but Rifle is controlling him
Rifle prevents Deans from improving his position.
Rifle stops Deans from getting back to his feet.
Deans is looking to get back to is feet but Rifle passes into side control.
Rifle lands a decent elbow from side control.
Rifle is putting a hurting on Deans here, landing some big shots from side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rifle in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Deans is breathing heavily.
Rifle working the ground and pound.
Rifle working away.
Rifle in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Rifle scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Deans to see if he's OK.
Rifle advances to mount.
Deans is desperately trying to improve his position but Rifle has a good base and remains in mount.

Rifle lands a big shot there that rocks Deans but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Rifle is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Deans can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Deans is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rifle postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Deans looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rifle cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


Deans is rocked!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sniper Rifle dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rifle is defended easily by Deans.
Deans tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rifle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Deans somewhat.

Rifle fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Deans to the ground. Rifle is now in Deans's guard.
Deans is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rifle lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Rifle loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Rifle throws a big right hand that misses.
Rifle stopping the sweep attempt from Deans.

Deans wants to hit a switch here but Rifle passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Deans there!
Rifle lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Deans hang on?
Rifle postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Deans looks a forlorn figure.
Rifle has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rifle is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Rifle is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Deans goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Rifle!
