Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Calgary Alberta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otis Driftwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Otis Driftwood was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alberta wants to clinch.

Driftwood jabs Alberta to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Alberta thuds his right hand into Driftwood's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Alberta has taken the fight to the clinch.
Alberta is trying to pull guard but Driftwood turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Alberta wants to stand up but Driftwood is controlling him.

Alberta fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Driftwood sprawls well initially but Alberta persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Alberta drops back looking for a leg! Driftwood is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Driftwood manages to kick Alberta off! Alberta jumps back into Driftwood's guard.

Driftwood has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alberta can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Driftwood pushes a forearm under Alberta's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Alberta is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
