Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randall White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Helms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes into the arena with Company Flow – 8 Steps To Perfection blaring out of the sound system. Carlos Helms has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Randall White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Helms!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helms dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
White defending well as Helms loads up on a big left hand.

White shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
White wants to free his trapped foot but Helms is holding on for dear life with his legs.
White wants to lay and pray for a moment but Helms keeps working.

White is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
White is keen to just control but Helms is a slippery customer.

White wants to control but Helms is keeping him busy.

White tries to pass the half guard into mount. Helms knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

White is working for a submission of some sort.
White is looking to take a break and control but Helms is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

White is trying to control. Helms wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Randall White.
White showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Helms.
White shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Helms counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Helms stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Helms wants it to stay on the feet.
Helms swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
White gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Helms jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
White takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from White is defended easily by Helms.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randall White. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Helms tests White's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Helms thuds his right hand into White's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

White looks for a takedown but Helms sprawls well.

White shoots in for a takedown but Helms shows good takedown defense.
White is breathing heavily.
White shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Helms but Helms pushes him off and we're back to square one.
White shoots for a takedown but Helms saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Helms punishes White's body with a nice straight punch.
Helms lands a jab-cross combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
White walks into a left hand.
Helms tries to bum rush White with a series of wild strikes but White uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Helms scores with a nice head shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carlos Helms dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Helms dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Helms lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively.
White shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Helms tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Helms to the ground. Helms escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
White slips a jab and a cross from Helms.
Helms connects with a good right hand that stumbles White. White circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Helms comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Helms feints a jab promting White to slip. Helms then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. White slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Helms misses with a body shot.
Randall White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A jab from Helms finds it's way through White's defenses.
White swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Helms counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
White takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Helms scores with a shot to the body.
Helms smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Helms throws a combination that misses

and White counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Helms breaks from the clinch.
Carlos Helms seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Nice jab there from Helms.


White is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Helms lands a jab to White's midsection.

Helms lands a left and a right that send White crashing to the mat, dazed. Helms thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh White is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A shot to the liver by Helms. Beautiful body shot.
White throws a wild hook but Helms just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! White gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Helms raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carlos Helms!
