Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Magnus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin Magnus is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Magnus.

Magnus is defending against the submission attempts here by Silva.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Silva holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Silva pushes Magnus off looking to stand but Magnus dives back in and keeps control.
Magnus is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer.
Magnus is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Magnus is working away from the top position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Magnus misses with the combination.

Mark Silva dominated that round.
That's time! Silva's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Magnus has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Silva.

Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Magnus pinned against the cage. Magnus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mark Silva will probably get the nod.
