Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Staph Aureus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Willabee Raggs !
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aureus leaves Raggs with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Aureus throws a front kick that sends Raggs stumbling back into the cage.

Raggs has closed the distance and engaged Aureus in a clinch.
Raggs is looking to break free of the clinch but Aureus has double underhooks.
Aureus looking to throw knees to the head but Raggs is blocking nicely.
Raggs takes a knee to the side of the body.
Raggs is looking to break free of the clinch but Aureus has double underhooks.
Aureus lands a nice knee to the body.
Raggs wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Aureus has him pressed against the cage.
Raggs has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aureus unloads a knee to the mid-section. Raggs lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Aureus is leaning against Raggs and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
A body shot lands from Aureus.
Nice body punch from Aureus - that landed with a thud.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Aureus obliges.
Aureus working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Aureus unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Aureus gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Aureus digs a right hand underneath Raggs 's ribcage. Raggs let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Aureus landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Aureus lands an elbow just above Raggs 's eye.

Aureus ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Aureus no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Raggs pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Aureus is keeping the position for now.
Raggs is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Raggs won't allow Aureus to sweep him here.

Aureus wants to sweep here but Raggs controlling him for the moment.

Aureus has Raggs pulled in close to control his posture.
Raggs is working Aureus over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Raggs postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Aureus is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Raggs , into his guard.
Raggs is trying to control the position but Aureus postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Aureus trying to control the position from guard on top but Raggs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Aureus distracts Raggs with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Raggs is looking to stand up but Aureus isn't so interested in that idea.
Aureus passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Raggs seems a little lost for a moment, as Aureus dominates the positioning.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Raggs wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Staph Aureus dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Willabee Raggs 's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Raggs thows a leg kick but Aureus checks it
and Aureus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Aureus slips under a jab.
Raggs shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Aureus looks to clinch
and Raggs counters with a right hand to the body.
Aureus checks a low kick from Raggs .
Staph Aureus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Aureus lands a nice leg kick that just misses Raggs 's sensitive parts.
A chopping leg kick lands by Aureus.
Raggs fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Aureus checks it well.
Raggs moves forwards but Aureus connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Aureus lands a big head kick that sends Raggs tumbling to the mat! Aureus takes a step backwards and waves Raggs back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Raggs is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Aureus thuds his shin into the meat of Raggs 's side.
Raggs is still on wobbly legs! Can Aureus finish him?
Whack! Aureus lands a heavy head kick that drops Raggs . The ref tackles Aureus to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Raggs was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Staph Aureus!
An out of breath Staph Aureus thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
