The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sidd shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.
Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sidd is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Sidd circles away and we're back to standing.

Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sidd quickly recovers to half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jones connects with a nice short shot to Sidd's temple.
Jones looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Sidd looks like he's trying to stand up.

Jones is working for a kimura but Sidd is defending it quite comfortably.
Sidd is trying to control but can't.

That has opened up Siddistic Sidd's cut even more.
Jones lands a strong strike to the head of Sidd. That's dazed him! Jones looking to finish here. Sidd is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Jones lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
