Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Olrax Recto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck Lee!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee has closed the distance and engaged Recto in a clinch.
Recto looking to slow down the pace here.
Lee on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Lee manages to break the clinch.
Recto fails with an attempt to clinch.
Recto throws a right and a left that both miss.
Recto misses with a jab, cross combination.
Recto throws a head kick that misses

and Lee counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Recto wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Lee landing knees to the body.

Lee breaks the clinch.
Lee connects with a high kick.


It looks like Olrax Recto has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Recto.
Recto moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.
Recto tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it.
Recto tries to clinch up but Lee circles away and keeps his distance.
Recto throws a combination that misses

and Lee holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Lee pushes Recto back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Recto wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lee has him pressed against the ropes.
Recto tries to circle away but Lee has him pinned against the ropes.

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Recto throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lee counters with a head kick. That will keep Recto thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Lee moves into range and clinches up with Recto.
Lee has Recto pressed against the ropes, preventing Recto from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lee misses with a head kick.
Recto takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Recto gets tackled into the ropes by Lee. Lee maintains the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee keeps control of Recto as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lee throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


Recto is rocked!
Lee feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Recto collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Chuck Lee!
