The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tlawhna moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Joe Spencer has been cut.
Tlawhna stalks Spencer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Spencer's face. Spencer staggers backwards, shaken.
Tlawhna will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tlawhna wants to clinch up but Spencer keeps it at a distance.

Spencer is nestled in close to Tlawhna, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Spencer looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Spencer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
