Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heartman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ustorf as he avoids it easily.
Ustorf misses with the combination.
Heartman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Ustorf closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Heartman gets underhooks to prevent Ustorf's takedown attempt.
Ustorf works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heartman takes an elbow to the temple.

Ustorf breaks from the clinch.

Heartman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ustorf tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Heartman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Heartman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ustorf keeps working.

Heartman has hold of Ustorf's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ustorf tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Heartman cranks the arm and Ustorf screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ustorf, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
