Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Fallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fallo has chosen Foster the people, Pumped up kicks as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Kim Fallo enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fallo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Nelson.

Fallo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nelson is trying to defend but Fallo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Fallo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Fallo tries to score with some ground and pound. Nelson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Fallo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Nelson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fallo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nelson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
