Godcheck kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Higher Ground by The Red Hot Chili Peppers. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hollywood throws a front kick aimed at Godcheck's knee but Godcheck avoids it well.
Hollywood is looking to slow Godcheck down with leg kicks.
Godcheck moves out of range of the strikes.
Hollywood throws a nice outside leg kick.
Godcheck misses with a double jab
and Hollywood counters with a good, hard body kick but Godcheck shrugs it off.
Godcheck shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hollywood digs a right hand into Godcheck's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Godcheck's gas tank.

Hollywood pushes Godcheck back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Hollywood tries to throw a body punch but Godcheck avoids it by throwing Hollywood back against the cage.

Godcheck chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hollywood can pounce on him.
Hollywood is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Godcheck avoids the body shot from Hollywood.
Hollywood leaves Godcheck with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

David Hollywood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hollywood fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Godcheck.

Godcheck ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hollywood finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

David Hollywood dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Godcheck with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hollywood to score with a decent uppercut.
Hollywood throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Hollywood lands with a nice body punch.
Godcheck walks into a left hand.

Godcheck is rocked!

Hollywood drops Godcheck with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Godcheck looks back up at him and smiles so Hollywood waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Godcheck is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A solid leg kick lands there for Hollywood.
Godcheck fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hollywood feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Godcheck crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

David Hollywood decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
