Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chase Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaysun Jeter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jeter gets the takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Fowler is not content to let Jeter control the position.
Jeter working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fowler is trying to control Jeter's posture but Jeter avoids it.

Jeter looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Jeter is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fowler knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Jeter throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Fowler holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.

Jeter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Jeter advances to mount.
Fowler really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Fowler wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jeter.

Jeter goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Fowler turns into him and now he's in Jeter's guard.

Jeter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fowler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jeter swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fowler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jeter's guard.

Jeter actively working from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fowler tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jeter knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Fowler passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jeter!
Jeter is in all sorts of trouble here.
Jeter manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Jeter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fowler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jeter tries to hold on but Fowler postures up.
Jeter is bucking up trying to escape but Fowler cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Jeter is wriggling around trying to escape.

Jeter tries to control the position but Fowler now has his back.
Jeter is trying to break free.
Fowler lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Jeter breaks Fowler's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jeter looking to sit in guard and control but Fowler gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jeter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fowler defends it easily.
Jeter looks gassed!
Fowler is pushing down on Jeter's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jeter is fighting to maintain full guard but Fowler has managed to sneak the leg through.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Jaysun Jeter will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

No luck for Jeter with that takedown attempt.

Fowler drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jeter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fowler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fowler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fowler loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Jeter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fowler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fowler looks up at the clock and then as Jeter takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Fowler smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Jeter manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fowler's best efforts.
Jeter tries to roll over but Fowler keeps him under control.

Jeter is breathing heavily.

Fowler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jeter is just riding it out for now. Fowler eventually gives up the hold.
Fowler works his foot free and advances to mount.

Fowler prevents Jeter from getting the reversal.
Jeter wants to hold on but Fowler pushes him away.
Jeter is trying to reverse the position but instead Fowler has taken his back - oops!
Fowler is hanging on to Jeter's back as he tries to escape.

Fowler has the hooks in. Jeter is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Fowler passes his arm under Jeter's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Jeter taps!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Chase Fowler!
