The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D Sailo connects with a nice looking jab.
Smith avoids the head kick by D Sailo.
D Sailo misses with the combination.
Smith tries for a takedown but D Sailo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
D Sailo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
D Sailo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Smith displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as D Sailo throws out the jab.
Smith shoots in looking for a takedown but D Sailo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Smith's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Smith shoots in looking for a takedown but D Sailo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Smith's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

D Sailo shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but D Sailo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Smith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

D Sailo has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Smith off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

D Sailo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
D Sailo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Smith does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
