Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chase Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yardimli Vahdet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fowler gets tackled into the cage by Vahdet. Vahdet maintains the clinch.
Vahdet slowing the pace effectively.
Vahdet wants a takedown but no success here.
Vahdet is pressed up against the cage. Fowler has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vahdet down to the mat. Vahdet avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Horrible takedown by Vahdet or perhaps it was just good defense by Fowler which made him look bad.
Chase Fowler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yardimli Vahdet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fowler.
Yardimli Vahdet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vahdet fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fowler avoids it really well and circles away.
Vahdet pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fowler shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vahdet but Vahdet pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fowler closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fowler lands in his opponent's guard.

Vahdet is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Vahdet isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fowler stacks Vahdet on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fowler!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vahdet is not content to let Fowler control the position.
Fowler tries for a kimura but Vahdet is defending well.
Fowler is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Vahdet is trying to escape and Fowler transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Vahdet is forced to tap! Nice work there by Fowler! Very nice indeed!
