Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tecocol Xocoyol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a front kick aimed at Xocoyol's knee but Xocoyol avoids it well.

and Xocoyol counters with a two punch combo.
Silva takes a swing at Xocoyol's ribcage but misses.
Silva throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Silva throws a low kick, looking for Xocoyol's leg but Xocoyol calmly moves out of range.
Silva lands a jab to Xocoyol's midsection.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Xocoyol enables Silva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Xocoyol manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Silva would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Xocoyol escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Silva rolls with it to try and escape but Xocoyol cranks on the arm and Silva is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
