And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Ner. No joy for Woolley on that attempt.

Ner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ner has control of Woolley's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Woolley regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Ner is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Woolley has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Ner wants to finish this one by submission but Woolley is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ner.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ner controlling well, preventing Woolley from escaping the position.

Ner looking for the choke but no joy.
Ner is trying to stick to Woolley's back but Woolley is turning into Ner. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ner's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Woolley.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Woolley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ner on the ground.

Ner has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Woolley doesn't defend quickly enough and Ner has managed to lock this one up! Can Woolley escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ner on a fantastic submission victory.
