Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Minor-Remember The Name. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mason Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas throws a nice inside leg kick.

and Diaz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Diaz throws a right and a left that Thomas avoids nicely.
Thomas takes one on the button.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Thomas.
Mason Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thomas will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Thomas throws a leg kick but Diaz sees it coming and moves out of range.
Thomas throws a chopping leg kick but Diaz manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Thomas fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Diaz is out of range.
Diaz lands a two punch combo.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Thomas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Diaz has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Diaz and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Diaz lands with a nice combination. Thomas backs away looking to recover.

Thomas is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown but Diaz shows good takedown defense.
Thomas is still on wobbly legs! Can Diaz finish him?
Diaz walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Thomas drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Diaz swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Thomas's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
