Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jato Liko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jato Liko told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey shoots in looking for a takedown. Liko tries to sprawl out of it but Bailey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Liko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bailey stuffs the takedown.
Bailey tries for a takedown but Liko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Liko or perhaps it was just good defense by Bailey which made him look bad.
Bailey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Liko circles away.

Liko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bailey does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bailey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Liko's waist but Liko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bailey off to one side.

Bailey jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Liko walks away with a smile on his face. Bailey gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bailey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Liko gets to his feet - Bailey follows without any prompting.
Bailey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Liko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Bailey shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Bailey gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Liko is taking a breather. Bailey says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
