Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between ll dd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ewan Applez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dd is looking to clinch but Applez is avoiding it.
Applez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but dd paws at him with a jab and circles away.
dd tries to clinch up.
A head kick misses from dd.
Applez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but dd was well out of range. Poor timing from Applez.
No luck for dd with that takedown attempt.
Applez tries for a takedown but dd sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

dd shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than dd was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Applez is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

Applez bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
dd wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Applez is now in half guard.

dd lands a nice looking body shot.
Applez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but dd avoids it really well and circles away.
Applez tries to score a power double leg takedown but dd sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Applez somewhat.
ll dd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ewan Applez.

Applez tries to clinch but dd is having none of it.
dd stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and dd wants it to stay on the feet.

Applez has his foot on dd's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. dd works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Applez is working an open guard so dd takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

dd darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

dd knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Applez on the ground.

Applez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. dd tries to avoid it but Applez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag dd to the ground. dd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

dd shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Applez is trying to defend but dd finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

dd is keen to just control but Applez is a slippery customer.

dd wants to take the fight to the mat but Applez manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Applez is pushing down on dd's leg trying to pass to half guard. dd is fighting to maintain full guard but Applez has managed to sneak the leg through.

dd tries to lock up and control but Applez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Applez has control of dd's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and dd regains control of the situation pretty easily.
