Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Via Dios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Dela Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dios comes to the cage accompanied by Sandstorm. Juan Dela Cruz told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dios connects with a body shot.
Dios rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dela Cruz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dios lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Dios misses with a wild body shot.
Dios throws a right and a left that both miss.
A punch combination from Dios misses.
Dela Cruz takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Dela Cruz takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Dios staying out of range there.
Dios gets tackled into the cage by Dela Cruz. Dela Cruz maintains the clinch.
Dios tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dela Cruz's elbow.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Dios just misses with a elbow thrown towards Dela Cruz's brow.
Dios scores a nice knee to the body.

Dios is pushing Dela Cruz up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
A head punch on the inside from Dios fails to land.
Dios drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dela Cruz gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dios has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dela Cruz after a bit of a struggle.
Dios scores with a nice hook to the head.
Dela Cruz tries to circle away but Dios has him pinned against the cage.
Dios tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Dela Cruz blocks an elbow strike from Dios.
Dela Cruz wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dios has him pressed against the cage.
Dios turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dela Cruz is working to avoid the ground and pound but Dios connects with a decent elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dios has his feet on Dela Cruz's thighs here. He's pushed Dela Cruz off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Dela Cruz screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
