Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eli Ellinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Owen Vanderlinden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ellinger might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bars On Me by Chris Webby. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellinger throws a right and a left that Vanderlinden avoids nicely.
Vanderlinden moves out of range as Ellinger throws a body kick.
Ellinger misses with a straight left.
Vanderlinden shoots in for a takedown but Ellinger shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Ellinger's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ellinger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vanderlinden swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Eli Ellinger has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Vanderlinden showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ellinger.
Ellinger moves in looking to clinch but Vanderlinden pushes him off.

Vanderlinden shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ellinger but Ellinger pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ellinger leaves Vanderlinden with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vanderlinden stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ellinger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Horrible takedown by Ellinger or perhaps it was just good defense by Vanderlinden which made him look bad.

Vanderlinden is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Ellinger moves in looking to clinch but Vanderlinden pushes him off.
Ellinger lands with a right hand.

Vanderlinden changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ellinger tries to avoid it but Vanderlinden manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ellinger to the ground. Ellinger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ellinger drops Vanderlinden with a beautiful combination! Vanderlinden stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ellinger is looking for the KO!
Vanderlinden is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Vanderlinden is still on wobbly legs! Can Ellinger finish him?
A kick lands to the mid section there for Ellinger.
Vanderlinden tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ellinger swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ellinger catches Vanderlinden with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Vanderlinden forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
