The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voipapu takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Voipapu connects with a solid leg kick.
Holmes tries to clinch up.
Voipapu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A punch lands to the side of Holmes 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Hank Holmes has been cut.
Holmes drives through and clinches with Voipapu against the cage.
Holmes misses with a short punch on the inside.
Voipapu wants to take the fight to the mat but Holmes manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Voipapu is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Holmes is controlling him.
Holmes wants to control from the top but Voipapu keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Hank Holmes hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Holmes closes the distance and pushes Voipapu back into the cage.
Holmes throws a punch but it's blocked by Voipapu.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
