The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurosaki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Kyo Kurosaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurosaki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bubby but Bubby pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bubby drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kurosaki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bubby sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kurosaki somewhat.
Bubby takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Bubby takes a swing at Kurosaki's ribcage but misses.
Bubby is looking to clinch.
Bubby throws an off balance right hand
and Kurosaki counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kurosaki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bubby sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Bubby is looking to clinch but Kurosaki is avoiding it.

Bubby throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kurosaki was covering up waiting for the punch and Bubby finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kurosaki wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Bubby manages to pass to side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bubby prevents Kurosaki from standing back up.
Bubby works his way into full mount!
Bubby postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kurosaki looks a forlorn figure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bubby throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Kurosaki is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Boy Bubby will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bubby throws a sloppy head kick and Kurosaki moves out of range easily.
Bubby throws a big shot that misses.
Kurosaki just misses with a punch to the body.
Bubby keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bubby fakes the leg kick and cracks Kurosaki in the body.
Kurosaki bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Bubby clinches with his opponent.
Kurosaki is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bubby pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Bubby escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kurosaki connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bubby stalks Kurosaki and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kurosaki's face. Kurosaki staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Kyo Kurosaki has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kurosaki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bubby circles away.

Bubby circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Kurosaki drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Bubby follows Kurosaki to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
