Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Filipovic Krimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida has chosen Street fighter theme song by pennywise as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krimo throws a head kick that half lands.

Machida circles away from the clinch attempt.
Machida moves in looking to clinch but Krimo pushes him off.
Krimo dips to his left and cracks Machida with an uppercut!
Machida is looking to clinch but Krimo is avoiding it.

and Machida connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Krimo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Machida is defending well for now.
