Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randal Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Power comes to the cage accompanied by Max is coming, better be ready.... There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Power!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Randal Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens scores with a nice head shot.

Power breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Power displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stevens.

Power cracks Stevens with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Power is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
A bone on bone clash there as Stevens blocks the leg kick.
Power throws a body punch but Stevens moves out of range.

Stevens drives through with a takedown into Power's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stevens is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Power sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stevens's guard.

Power is keen to just control but Stevens is a slippery customer.
Power lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Stevens is refusing to be controlled, as Power sits in half guard.
Stevens is looking to control Power's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Stevens avoid being mounted?
Stevens is not content to let Power control the position.

That's eight minutes gone in the round.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Stevens is looking for a sweep. Power is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, Power seems content to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Max Power.
Stevens rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Power counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Power moves away from the strike by Stevens.
Power with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stevens's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
A nice leg kick lands there from Power.
Power jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Stevens walks into a straight right hand from Power.
Power ducks under a wild hook from Stevens.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stevens on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Max Power dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Power slips a jab from Stevens.
Stevens lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Stevens shoots in for a takedown but Power shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Power gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Stevens avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Stevens stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Power has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Stevens manages to get his head free but now Power has transitioned to an armbar! Stevens grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Power! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Max Power!
A very excited looking Max Power made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
